Conversions to DVD, VHS to DVD, DV to DVD

We have now launched our Video to DVD Service. We use a professional digitiser which provides much better quality and accurate video/audio synchronisation compared with some of the cheap consumer video grabber devices. We convert the video to DV standard which is uncompressed and is around 13Gb per hour. We edit in that format and only then convert to DVD.

DVDs of less than 2 hours duration are burnt onto Lightscribe single layer DVDs. DVDs of over 2 hours are burnt onto Lightscribe dual layer DVDs. DVDs are labelled.

We can currently convert VHS, C-VHS, Video 8, Hi 8, Digital 8, and Mini DV formats to DVD. The prices for all formats are as follows:

15 minute recording: $18

30 minutes recording : $25

1 hour recording : $30

1.5 hour recording : $36

2 hour recording : $40

3 hour recording: $50

4 hour recording : $62

Within these prices we offer a limited editing service, removing blanks, unwanted sections but no detailed editing within a sequence. Such editing is extra and we are happy to quote for you on an individual basis. This editing is charged at $15 per 15 minutes. Call 02 9572 7005 to discuss your requirements further.

We offer a personal service via drop off and pick up at our premises or by mail ( shipping costs extra )

Note that for reasons of copyright we are unable to copy commercial VHS tapes unless you have permission of the copyright owner.

All videos are stored digitally on our servers for 30 days after your order is processed. After that time they are permanently deleted.

We also provide Duplication Services - mutiple copies of CDs and DVDs.
